Samsung has just launched its first cellphone in 2023, namely the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G. The successor to the Galaxy A13 comes with a number of improvements.
The Galaxy A14 5G carries an IPS LCD panel with a screen size of 6.6 inches which is slightly larger than its predecessor. The screen has also been upgraded from 720p to FHD+. Don't miss the 90Hz refresh rate support and the notch on the screen in the shape of a water drop.
Samsung has provided this phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, just like its predecessor. The configuration is still the same, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded with a microSD slot.
On the back there are three cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera and a depth sensor. The front camera resolution has also been increased from 5 MP to 13 MP.
The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh with support for 15W fast charging. The Galaxy A14 5G will be available in four color options, namely Black, Light Green, Dark Red and Silver.
The Galaxy A14 5G immediately launched with the latest Android 13 operating system with One UI 5. Samsung promises two operating system upgrades and security updates for four years for the Galaxy A14 5G, as quoted from The Verge, Thursday (5/1/2023).
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is released at a price of USD 200 in the United States and will be available starting January 12, 2023. This phone will also be available in several European countries in the next few months.
