Samsung Showcases Neo QLED, Micro LED and OLED, Not Just Digital TV

 


Samsung is heating up the CES 2023 stage by bringing its new line of televisions. In addition to Neo QLED and Micro LED, the South Korean technology giant introduced an OLED screen television.

“In 2023, we are pushing the boundaries of innovation to offer consumers more than just premium picture quality, but also a holistic and premium device experience, which can be tailored to what they need and want from their connected home,” said Cheolgi. Kim, EVP of Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics.



Neo QLED 2023

The 2023 Neo QLED television range comes in 8K and 4K resolutions. The Neo QLED image quality is supported by the Neural Quantum Processor which has 14-bit processing and AI upscaling. This enables features such as Shape Adaptive Light Control and Real Depth Enhancer Pro to create life-like, three-dimensional images.


Neo QLED 2023 is also supported by an algorithm that supports the latest Auto HDR Remastering. Uses deep learning AI technology to analyze and apply High Dynamic Range (HDR) effects in real-time to Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) content scene by scene, making SDR content brighter and more vibrant for a truly immersive experience.



Samsung embeds the SmartThings Zigbee & Matter Thread One-Chip Module which is directly embedded in the NeoQLED2023 product. SmartThings automatically syncs various devices for easier control, not only for Samsung devices, but also third-party devices and IoT devices, for a seamless connection.


MicroLED 2023

The 2023 Micro LED range offers models in a range of 50 to 140 inches. Of course, this gives consumers more choices in enjoying unparalleled picture quality and screen experience.


Thanks to its modular nature, Micro LED is not bound by shape, ratio, and size, so it can be fully customized according to the customer's desired settings. Plus, Micro LED comes bezel-less so regardless of configuration, the boundary between screen and reality is seamless.


Samsung OLED

Samsung released a line of OLED screen televisions. Available in 55, 65 and 77 inch variants. The latest Samsung OLED lineup comes with Quantum Dot technology which has been developed for the Neo QLED.


Together with the Neural Quantum Processor to maintain the core advantages of OLED technology, while improving its limits in terms of brightness and color representation.


This expansion of the product lineup comes with a 144Hz refresh rate and all of Samsung's smart features, including the Samsung Gaming Hub. And for the first time on an OLED TV, Samsung OLED comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification to provide the best OLED gaming experience.



New Features

The company that makes this Galaxy cellphone also presents Samsung TV Plus in all of its smart TV lines. The service delivers more than 1,800 channels globally, including more than 50 network-owned channels, spanning 24 countries and 465 million devices globally covering all enterprise TV and mobile devices. This service is 100% free and there is no need to download, subscribe or use any additional devices.


There's also the Samsung Gaming Hub, the new home for gaming on Samsung Smart TVs, offering users unrestricted access to thousands of their favorite games from partners like Xbox, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, and Utomik, without the need for downloads, storage limits, or consoles. Additionally, the Samsung Gaming Hub offers the most intuitive gaming experience, where players simply turn on the TV and play.


In 2023, upgrades to GameBar 3.0 with MiniMap Sharing and Virtual Aim Points will enhance the experience for every type of gamer. MiniMap Sharing allows players to see their game's minimap at a glance on any screen, while Virtual Aim Point, designed for first-person shooter (FPS), allows players to see the crosshairs more clearly in any game so they can make their aim.
