The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is getting closer. Leaks about the Galaxy S23 trio, which will launch, are even more aggressive, including renderings showing four color choices.
Renders showing the design of the Galaxy S23 series have been circulating for a long time. But this time the leak shows a high-resolution image that looks more official.
This colorful leak of the Galaxy S23 series came from FMKorea which was then shared on Twitter by tipster Max Jambor. The leak shows images of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra in four colors, namely beige, pink, green and black.
From this leak, it can be seen that Samsung chose to use colors with pastel shades for the Galaxy S23 series. Gone are the striking green and burgundy colors that characterize the Galaxy S22 series.
The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra in this leak are still covered in green, but with a calmer shade. Meanwhile, the beige/beige variant replaces the white variant. The pink and black color variants still survive. But from the picture, the black color variant actually looks more like dark gray.
Meanwhile, in terms of design, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra don't seem to have made any significant changes. It's just that Samsung removed the Contour Cut design for the Galaxy S23 camera module, and replaced it with a camera design that integrates with the rear panel.
Apart from the color choices, the prices for the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea have also been leaked. This price leak reportedly came from the SKTelecom operator. This leaked price is slightly more expensive than the price of the Galaxy S22 when it was launched in Korea.
Leaked prices for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series in Korea:
Samsung Galaxy S23: 1,199,000 Won
Samsung Galaxy S23+: 1,397,000 won
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: 1,599,400 Won
For comparison, the Galaxy S22 was released in Korea for 999,000 Won, while the Galaxy S22+ was released for 1,199,000 Won and the Galaxy S22 Ultra 1,452,000 Won. The rumored price of the Galaxy S23 series shows an increase of between 10% and 20% compared to its predecessor.
Of course this is still just a rumor and the price of the Galaxy S23 series on the market is also usually cheaper compared to its country of origin. Let's wait for the official announcement when Samsung releases the Galaxy S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event next month.
