Acer is bringing a number of its newest products to the CES 2023 event in Las Vegas, United States of America at the next@acer event, namely two gaming laptops and two gaming monitors.
The two gaming laptops brought to Gambling City are from the Predator Helios line, which have a new design and 16 and 18 inch screens. This brand-new laptop uses the 13th generation Intel Core processor and Nvidia RTX 40 GPU, and Acer claims to be the most powerful gaming laptop at the moment.
Then for monitors, Acer showed off the Predator X45, which is an 800R curved monitor and the Predator X27U, a 27-inch OLED monitor with a refresh rate of 240hz.
Acer Predator Helios 16 and Predator Helios 18
The all-new Predator Helios 16 (PH16-71) and Predator Helios 18 (PH18-71) bring the latest and greatest technology to Acer's most powerful gaming laptop series. Both offer models that include a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 or i7 HX processor paired with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU (MGP up to 165W).

The Predator Helios 16 offers a 16-inch (16:10) WQXGA (2560×1600) display at 165 Hz or 240 Hz or a Mini LED panel at 250 Hz, powered by AUO AmLED technology that supports a peak brightness of over 1000 nits with a high contrast ratio of 1000 .000:1 and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage for rich, vibrant colors.
The Predator Helios 18 features a stunning 18-inch (16:10) display with your choice of either WUXGA (1920x1200) at 165 Hz, WQXGA (2560x1600) at 165 Hz or 240 Hz, or the super-fast 250 Hz Mini LED display from AUO. As a cooling system, Acer uses the latest thermal solution called 5th generation 3D AeroBlade.
The laptop body is matte black, the bezel is thin, and several ports are stored on the back of the laptop. The keyboard is also updated with mini LED backlit and 1.8mm key travel and anti-ghosting N-key rollover.
The Predator comes with Intel Killer E2600 Ethernet Controller, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675 frequency band support for fast and smooth gaming. The gaming laptop includes a variety of peripherals with USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, including HDMI 2.1, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 that support power delivery, and a Micro SD card reader.
