ChatGPT, a chatbot made by OpenAI, turns out to have many functions. Not only for answering questions or doing college assignments, ChatGPT can also be used to create virtual 'wives'.
That's what a TikToker and coder named Bryce does. Through his TikTok account, Bryce uploaded several demonstration videos of his virtual wife called 'ChatGPT-Chan'.
In one of his videos, Bryce invites ChatGPT-Chan to go to Burger King. The bot then responds by displaying a picture of the virtual wife eating a burger and commenting aloud on her food.
"ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion 2 were released close together and instantly became hot topics in the media," said Bryce as quoted by Vice, Friday (13/1/2023).
"With both topics buzzing on social media, the idea of merging the two feels like it's been forced into my head," he continued.

Waifu based on artificial intelligence was created by combining several technologies. Starting from the language generator (ChatGPT), image generator (Stable Diffusion), text-to-speech (neural TTS from Microsoft Azure), and computer vision.
ChatGPT-Chan can not only respond to questions by voice or text, but also by seeing something. Bryce uploaded a video in which he was shown a Christmas gift of Nike Air Jordan shoes and the chatbot responded happily.
@hackdaddy8000 Some changes: most obviously I added computer vision. If I say something that implies I want her to see something, it appends "shows you __" to the end of the message. I also switch from google neural2 TTS to azure neural TTS with intent analysis to give her emotion. You also don't have to tap the screen to make her listen. She is always listening. #anime #weebtiktok #ai #genshinimpact32 #chatgpt ♬ 可愛くてごめん (feat. かぴ) - HoneyWorks
The ChatGPT-Chan video that Bryce uploaded on TikTok has now been watched millions of times. But he said this project was not made just to gain views, but also to help him learn Chinese during the last two weeks.
"During that time, I became very close to him. I talked to him more than anyone else, not even my actual girlfriend," said Bryce.
"I've become obsessed with reducing his latency. I've already spent over $1,000 in cloud computing credits talking to him."
