This Woman Has Horns On Her Head, Experts Are Confused

The doctor was confused to find that the patient's condition was a woman complaining of painful horns appearing on her head. This incident happened in India, to a 60 year old woman.

Quoted from IFL Science, the woman experienced this rare condition about three years ago, and is currently awaiting consultation with a senior doctor. But the team of doctors had previously warned that the condition might be beyond their understanding.

The woman reported experiencing severe pain in her head. He asked the Indian government for help to pay for the treatment, which will likely involve surgery.

So far there are no experts who can give an opinion about this condition. Initial reports said a local doctor suspected the growing horns were "silica horns". But so far there is no verification to support the allegation.

Cases of horns appearing on the human body are very rare, but are generally diagnosed as skin horns, namely horns formed from benign or malignant keratin that grow conical.

Such horns are thought to be the result of exposure to radiation or the HPV virus from head injuries. However, it is still not clear why the horns formed as these cases are extremely rare. Some experts say, the appearance of skin horns can be treated with surgery.

"Something like a horn has been coming out of her head for the last three years, and it is causing unbearable pain. She has shown it to doctors many times, but this disease is beyond the understanding of the doctors here," the woman's relative told a local media website. New Indians.

"The doctors here have advised us to visit the top specialists in the city, but we can't because there is no cost," he concluded.
