AMD introduced its newest line of Ryzen 7000 processors for laptops, including the Dragon Range line of processors that use the Zen 4 architecture.
One of the processors from the Dragon Range line is the Ryzen 9 7945HX, which has 16 cores and 32 threads, with clock speeds varying from 2.2GHz to 5.4GHz, 80MB cache, and 55-75 watts of thermal design power (TDP).

Actually from the blue camp there is the Core i9-13980HX, which Intel claims is the fastest mobile processor in the world. The processor has 24 cores, which at first glance may seem more, but of the 24 cores only eight are "fast" cores, while the remaining 16 are power-saving cores.
Of course it will be difficult to compare the performance of the Core i9-13980HX with the Ryzen 9 7945HX, at least for now. But on paper, processors from the red camp look more attractive, especially with various claims from AMD, such as a performance increase in Cinebench of up to 78% compared to Ryzen 6900HX.
Of course the Ryzen 7945HX will not be used in thin and light laptops, but will be present in monster laptops such as the Alienware m16 and m18, both of which have the AMD Advantage label -- similar to the Intel Evo label --, Asus ROG Strix, and also the Lenovo Legion line.
But the Ryzen 7000 lineup certainly doesn't only contain the monster processor, there are also more pocket-friendly ones like the 7040 series -- also using the Zen 4 architecture --, like the Ryzen 9 7940HS and Ryzen 7 7840HS, both of which have eight cores and 16 threads, with speeds boost up to 5.2 GHz, and a TDP of 34-45 watts.
From the Ryzen 7000 line, there are also those that still use the Zen 3+ architecture, such as the processors in the 7035 line which are promised to have extraordinary battery life. Like the Ryzen 3 7030, which is being maintained by AMD, it has proven to have great battery life.
