Xiaomi 13 Lite Leaked With Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Chip

The Xiaomi 13 series was launched in China in December with a number of interesting things. This includes the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip as the mainstay, in addition to a better imaging system with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor.

Most recently there are rumors claiming the existence of another model under the same series. Known as the Xioami 13 Lite, it was found with the code name Ziyi via the Google Play Console page. The listing also reveals some technical specifications on the device. For example, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip with 8GB of RAM may be used as the mainstay. Also included is a FHD+ resolution screen with a pixel density of 440 ppi. The device also supports Android 12, which means it should also run MIUI 13 alongside it.

Xiaomi 13 And 13 Pro

Turning to the design, it shows a great similarity with a previous Xiaomi Civi 1S. But the Ziyi model code used refers to the previous Xiaomi Civi 2. Furthermore, the Civi 2 is also powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. So, is the Xiaomi 13 Lite just a rebranded device in a different body design? Stay tuned.
