ASUS ROG STRIX With A Combination Of AMD And NVIDIA Will Also Be Offered In The Local Market

 


ASUS Malaysia has just confirmed that their ASUS ROG STRIX laptop series consisting of ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR and ASUS ROG STRIX G powered by Intel and NVIDIA processing chips will be offered starting mid-February.


The company has also confirmed that two laptop models in the same series, namely ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17 and ASUS ROG STRIX G17 are powered by a combination of AMD and NVIDIA processing chips.



Starting with the display of these laptops, the ASUS STRIX SCAR 17 comes with a 17.3-inch IPS screen display with a resolution of 2560×1440 with a display ratio of 16:9 and a 240Hz refresh rate.


It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processing chip with 32GB of DDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. In terms of graphics card offerings, ROG STRIX SCAR 17 comes with a choice of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics cards depending on the user's needs.


As for the ASUS ROG STRIX G17 model, it comes with the same screen display size and resolution as well as the same processing chip, but in terms of graphics card offerings, this model comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card option.



In terms of cooling, both laptops come with ASUS' latest three-fan system, and also use Conductonaut Extreme metal cooling liquid


ASUS Malaysia says that the STRIX G models will be offered at the end of this month at a price tag to be determined later.
