ASUS Updates Vivobook Classic Series With OLED Screen And AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU


 ASUS is a manufacturer that is already famous for its various types of laptops. Their latest is officially present with the new Vivobook Classic 2023 series equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU. There are three model variations available, namely ASUS Vivobook 14 OLED (M1405), ASUS Vivobook 15 OLED (M1505) and ASUS Vivobook 16 (M1605).



Starting with the ASUS Vivobook 14 OLED (M1405), this laptop comes with an optional 14-inch OLED panel (2880 x 1800 pixels) that passes Pantone color standards and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a more affordable WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS LCD panel option.


This is paired with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U CPU, AMD Radeon Graphics GPU, 8GB DDR4 memory and up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage and a 50Wh battery (depending on the model type). Next, the I/O options consist of 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1 x HDMI 1.4, 1 x audio jack and 1 x DC- in.



As the name suggests, the ASUS Vivobook 15 OLED (M1505) is equipped with a 120Hz OLED screen with a resolution option of either 2.8K or FHD. It is also matched with chips up to AMD Ryzen 7 7730U, GPU AMD Radeon Graphics, 8 GB DDR4 memory and storage up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD and 50Wh capacity. The I/O options provided include 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1 x HDMI 1.4, 1 x audio jack and 1 x DC-in .



Further ASUS Vivobook 16 (M1605) has a 16-inch panel from the OLED family without a high refresh rate. Processor chips up to AMD Ryzen 7 7730U are used with AMD Radeon Graphics GPUs. Also included is 8GB DDR4 memory, built-in storage up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD and 42Wh battery capacity.


More information about the selling price for all these laptops is still unknown so far.
