The battle between Barcelona and Manchester United took place fiercely in the first leg of the 2022/2023 Europa League playoffs. The duel ended in a draw, but the actions of Marcus Rashford et al made netizens do heart exercises throughout the match.

Taking place at Camp Nou, early Friday morning (17/2/2023), neither Barcelona nor Man Utd managed to rip through the opponent's goal throughout the first half, even though each had chances.

A new goal was created in the 50th minute of the second half. Marcus Alonso managed to break into the Red Devils goal. But Erik ten Hag's team immediately replied two minutes later. Rashford successfully made the score equal 1-1.

MU turned 2-1 ahead in the 59th minute thanks to a goal made by Jules Kounde. Left behind from MU made Xavi Hernandez's men attack it all out.

Barcelona evened the score 2-2 in the 76th minute through Rapinha's goal. Score 2-2 did not change until the referee blew the final whistle of the second half.

"Fair result. A good good game. Can't wait for next week game. All to play at Old Trafford plus we've got Sabitzer and Martinez back. Barca will also be playing without Gavi and probably Pedri. Up the fucking Reds! " said @Dalasran.

"One of the best matches in the world, staying up all night is not in vain. Round 1 belongs to Barca, round 2 belongs to MU. This match deserves a draw from a game standpoint.

Hopefully, Leg 2 playing in MU's Theater of Dreams can blow Barca away," hoped @hinda_26.
