In recent days, bot confess WhatsApp has been popular on TikTok. So what is this technology and are there any dangers or not?
WhatsApp confess bot here turns out to have quite a unique role. Its presence can help users send messages to others anonymously.
But apparently, there is a danger lurking behind the sophistication it offers. Incidentally, we have already contacted Alfons Tanujaya, a cyber security expert from Vaccinecom, to ask about the whereabouts of the confess WhatsApp bot.
According to Alfons, this is just like a message forwarding bot. He continued, he said that if the message sent was general in nature, it should be safe.
"Technically this is a program that will receive a message on a number that has been prepared by the bot. Then this bot will forward the received message to the intended number," said Alfons.
He says that technically the bot is like a proxy, and has access to all forwarded message communications. Alfons emphasized that if it is saved, it means that the bot has a database of all messages between users.
But apparently, the link that is spread on the internet related to the confess WhatsApp bot page is dead. Regarding this, Alfons revealed that if the link is dead, there is a possibility that the existence of this technology is not allowed by WhatsApp developers.
"There is a danger. If the developer of this bot is evil. Technically he could insert malicious routines into the messages sent. Like data stealing / phishing links or SMS stealing apps," said Alfons.
According to him, that way, in the future, criminals might make similar bots. Then use it to commit crimes such as phishing and so on.
So, for those of you who want to use the WhatsApp confess bot, you should think about it again. This is to avoid unwanted bad events.
