Bill Gates Gathers Australia's Richest People, What's Up?

Bill Gates recently visited Australia. He has various agendas, one of which is to hold secret meetings and dinners with the richest people in the Kangaroo Country. What for?

It's called a secret meeting, the agenda is not open to the media or the public. However, the leak was that Bill Gates invited them to discuss various topics such as pandemics, vaccines and philanthropy.

As quoted by us from the Daily Mail, it is believed that the founder of Microsoft encouraged the rich to donate more money to humanity.

The founders of the Canva application were also invited, namely Mel Perkins and her husband Cliff Obrecht. Canva's success has indeed made Perkins one of the richest women in Australia. Then there is the founder of software company Atlassian Scott Farquhar and his wife, Kim Jackson.

Bill Gates seems to think that rich Australians don't do too much charity. Currently, charities in Australia account for 0.8 per cent of GDP, trailing the UK, Canada, New Zealand and the US.

In Australia, one of the most talked about news about Bill Gates is that he was seen with Paula Hurd, the woman who is reportedly now his girlfriend after his divorce from Melinda Gates.

According to sources, the Microsoft founder and Hurd have been known to have had an affair for quite some time. But so far, Hurd has not met Bill Gates' children. Gates and Hurd were seen watching the Australian Open tennis Men's Singles Final.

As quoted by us from People, Paula was married to Mark Hurd, CEO of software giant Oracle and former Hewlett-Packard boss, for nearly 30 years, until her husband's death in October 2019.

Paula graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1984. After college, Hurd made a decades-long career in technology companies. He is known to be charitable, matching Bill Gates.
