Bing Chat Increases Session Limits And Changes The Focus Of Answers Given

Bing Chat announced a few weeks ago allows for a more conversational Bing search. Unlike normal search results, Bing Chat is able to provide more accurate topic recommendations complete with links to appropriate sites.

Because of its widespread use, users reported that Bing Chat would start offering strange or irrelevant answers the longer the conversation went on, forcing Microsoft to limit users to 50 sessions per day with 5 questions per session.

Today it is increased to 60 sessions a day with 6 questions for each session. This was done after taking feedback from users who wanted longer chat sessions. Microsoft has plans to increase the limit to 100 sessions per day in the near future.

Also announced is that users can change the focus of the answers provided by Bing Chat. There is a Precise setting that gives shorter answers, Balanced for more balance and Creative that will give longer answers like a normal conversation session.
