Bank Negara Malaysia is now reminding the public to carefully and carefully study the terms and conditions for the Shopee SLoan service - before applying and taking further action related to it.
Previously, Shopee had activated the SLoan feature that offered personal loans of up to RM100,000, but came with its own payment terms and charges.
Bank Negara Malaysia warns that not only for Shopee SLoan, but for any financial service as well, users are asked to do various checks and research before committing to it.
