Celcom is now seen adding a new offering under the Celcom Home Wireless package, which is called Celcom Home Wireless 5G. This is the first plan under the package that offers 5G network access.
Through this plan, users can enjoy data access with a quota of 1TB at a price of RM149 per month. When subscribing, customers will be subject to a 24-month contract period. After exceeding the data quota, the speed will be limited to 512Kbps until the next monthly renewal period.
This package is aimed at those who want high-speed internet access reaching 5G at home, through the offer of a special ZTE modem.
Celcom says users will be able to enjoy 5G speeds through it, and it will also support 4G networks if users' locations do not currently support 5G networks.
For registration as well, Celcom is limiting the offering of this package only in the Klang Valley for the time being, and can be registered through several Bluecubes around the Klang Valley.
