Google recently introduced Brad which is intended as a ChatGPT chatbot competitor. However, the launch was considered to be in such a mess that even the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, drew harsh criticism from his own employees.
The Google employees used the popular internal forum Memegen to share their thoughts on Bard's announcement. Many referred to it as a "rush," "failure," and "unGoogle," according to messages and memes seen by CNBC.
Google ahead of Microsoft where Pichai publicly divulged some details of his company's chatbot technology. On the sidelines of the Google event, Microsoft, an early investor in the creators of ChatGPT, showed off how the Bing search engine will integrate with ChatGPT technology.
During Brad's introduction, quest boss Prabhakar Raghavan briefly shared several slides containing examples of Bard abilities. Well, Twitter netizens noticed that Bard's advertisement offered an incorrect description of the telescope used to take the first pictures of planets outside our solar system.
“Dear Sundar, launch of Bard and Layoffs was rushed, broken and myopic,” read one meme that included a photo of Pichai with a serious expression. Other memes are of a similar vein.

Shares of Google parent Alphabet have fallen more than 9% this week on concerns about the threat ChatGPT poses to Google's core search business and the company's hasty reaction to Microsoft.
"The rush to launch Bard into market in a panic validates the market's fears about us," wrote one internal Google employee meme, quoted by us from CNBC.
Google's position in artificial intelligence is a matter of public concern. In December, employees asked about the company's competitive advantage in AI as ChatGPT took off. Executives say the company's reputation could be damaged if it moves too quickly on their rudimentary AI-chat technology.
