In other words, the CIMB OCTO interface is brand new and fresh. Its design also gives you the freedom to customize the interface more easily according to your banking interests. For example, you can make settings such as setting the Quick Balance feature to see your savings balance, Quick Menu to access the various functions you use most often, and so on at your convenience.
This application is also complete with basic digital banking features such as DuitNow, DuitNowQR, JomPAY, prepaid top-up facilities and many more. Not only that, you can also check CIMB credit card details, CVV number and expiry date more easily through this application. Now, you can retrieve transaction receipts in the transaction history section to share again whenever you need.
In addition, CIMB will also add other new features soon. Among them are such as a reminder function to make monthly commitment payments, being able to access content on useful tips for your banking needs, an analysis of your expenses, an automatic saving function and many more.
2. A Platform That Is Always Ready For Future Use
Among the reasons why the functions available on the CIMB OCTO application are being rolled out in stages is because CIMB wants us as users to adapt to the use of their brand new interface. In fact according to CIMB Malaysia, all your feedback regarding the CIMB OCTO application is welcome and they will work to improve this new application for the convenience of users.
In addition, this latest CIMB application is built with newer technology and allows you to use features that were not available in CIMB Clicks before. All updates and upgrades are said to meet the required features. This is to ensure that this application becomes a platform that is ready for future use in terms of flexibility for any changes, updates, and also traffic growth.
3. Built With A Strong Security System
This application has also upgraded its security system so that we as users can feel safer and more confident when using it. According to CIMB, this application is built with multiple layers of security and to ensure it is safer to use, CIMB advises us as users to follow the following steps:
Download from verified and trusted app stores – such as Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or HUAWEI AppGallery. So, you are advised not to click on any suspicious link.
Activate biometric identity – more private, only you can log into the account for faster payments.
Activate the 6-digit code – suitable for devices that do not support biometric systems
Confirm the transaction you wish to make through the CIMB OCTO application with SecureTAC. The SecureTAC facility for online transactions made through the website will be launched in the CIMB OCTO application by the first half of 2023. For now, to confirm the following transactions, you still need to use the CIMB Clicks application to receive SecureTAC.
