Corsair Starts Showing 48GB And 96GB Memory Configurations

Previously we mentioned that MSI has started offering support for 24GB and 48GB memory configurations, which allows users to install up to 192GB of memory in their computers.

Recently, Corsair is seen as one of the first RAM brands to introduce this memory configuration through their Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory series where they offer 24GB and 48GB memory modules in 2x24GB and 2x48GB configurations.

As said before, depending on your configuration needs, you can install as much as 96GB or 192GB of DDR5 memory on desktop computers powered by 13th generation Raptor Lake processing chips using Intel 600 and 700 series motherboards.

This high memory configuration unfortunately means that currently, the displayed memory speed is only as high as 5200MHz and 5600MHz, when the DDR5 memory speed that does not use a 24Gb memory module can reach a speed of 8000MHz without problems.

The new Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory series has not been officially introduced, but a computer store in Canada, namely PC Canada has already listed this memory offering on their website.

A 2x24GB offering with a speed of 5200MHz is offered for $192.48, while the same option with a speed of 5600MHz will sell for $204.51. The 96GB memory combo offers are shown at $392.64 and $404.53 for the same speeds.

For now it is not known when Corsair will start selling DDR5 memory with this giant capacity.
