Elon Musk admitted that Twitter was no longer on the verge of bankruptcy

Elon Musk claimed to have saved Twitter from the threat of bankruptcy. In his tweet, Musk said his social media company had led to Breakeven.

Musk, who also served as CEO of Tesla and Spacex, claimed that the last three months was a difficult period for him because he had to save Twitter while leading two other companies

"The last 3 months have been very difficult, because they have to save Twitter from bankruptcy, while fulfilling important tasks in Tesla & Spacex. Will not pray for the pain to anyone," Musk said in his tweet, as quoted by CNBC, Monday (6/2/2023 ).

"Twitter still has a number of challenges, but now it tends to reach the break -even if we continue to fight. Public support is highly valued!" he continued.

The tweet was a musk's response to the Wall Street Journal article that revealed the lifestyle of the former richest person in the world. The article wrote how Musk became more busy after becoming a new owner of Twitter.

In a discussion with investor Ron Baron in November last year, Musk said his working hours increased from 80 hours a week to 120 hours a week after buying Twitter.

"I sleep, I wake up, I work, I sleep, wake up, work - do it all seven days a week," Musk said in a discussion with Baron.

"I have to do that for a while - there is no other choice - but I think that after Twitter is on the right track, I think it will be much easier to manage than Spacex or Tesla," he continued.

Musk himself said he was ready to resign as a Twitter CEO after finding an appropriate substitute. Some Tesla investors also asked Musk to resign from Twitter after the electric car producer shares fell freely in 2022.

Since buying Twitter worth USD 44 billion in October 2022, Jalan Musk is indeed not smooth. According to the platformer data, Twitter's daily income dropped to 40% year-over-year in January 2023 after hundreds of advertisers left.

Twitter was also sued by some of his partners for failing to pay bills. One of them is the owner of the Twitter head office building in San Francisco, United States who filed a lawsuit after the social media company failed to pay rent of USD 6.8 million.
