Elon Musk Complains of Back Pain and Trouble Sleeping Leads 3 Companies

Elon Musk admits that he is overwhelmed with leading three companies at once. Even his mother asked him to take time to rest. He also had time to vent about his condition in a tweet on Twitter.

"The last three months have been tough having to save Twitter from bankruptcy, while fulfilling important assignments at Tesla and SpaceX. I don't want this kind of pain to befall anyone," he wrote.

Last 3 months were extremely tough, as had to save Twitter from bankruptcy, while fulfilling essential Tesla & SpaceX duties. Wouldn't wish that pain on anyone.

Twitter still has challenges, but trending is now going to break even if we keep at it. Public support is much appreciated!

Elon is known to be a workaholic, even willing to sleep in Tesla's office. Author and columnist Arianna Huffington once wrote an open letter begging her to get more rest, because humans are not machines. Elon then countered by saying that working less time was an option for his business to succeed.

But the past few months have seemed particularly tiring for the world's richest man. While testifying in federal court in San Francisco regarding the issue of Tesla's funding, he had complained to his attorney.

To be extra clear, Twitter is definitely not financially healthy yet, but is trending to be so. Lots of work still needed to get there.

"I had a hard time sleeping last night, so unfortunately, I'm not in the best condition. Sorry if I stretch a lot. I have some pretty bad back pain," he said.

Quoted from Market Watch, Elon told investor Ron Baron at a conference last November that since taking ownership of Twitter, his workload had grown from around 80 hours a week to more than 120 hours.

"I sleep, wake up, work, sleep, wake up, work again, so on every day. I have to do it, no choice. But when Twitter is on the right track, I think things will be much more manageable than SpaceX or Tesla ," he said.

Through posting a tweet, Elon also explained that even though Twitter is not yet financially healthy, he is optimistic that an improving trend will occur, although there is still a lot of work to be done to achieve it.

“I go to sleep, I wake up, I work, go to sleep, wake up, work—do that seven days a week,” - @elonmusk

The fans of this eccentric man also seem to be worried about his health. Responding to this, Elon replied to his fan's tweet, "I'm also worried about myself."

Congratulations! Such a relief. Now catch up on sleep💤💤💤 https://t.co/0HD2cnZBVD

So is his mother, Maye Musk, who responded to her son's tweet when he was found not guilty in the trial of the Tesla funding case. He told Elon to sleep. "What a relief. Now sleep," he tweeted.
