Elon Musk Says Starlink Can Cause World War III

Elon Musk doesn't appear to have learned from the experience before he tweeted, not even since buying Twitter. He often makes strange statements that can backfire on him.

Recently, he called one of his companies potentially responsible for World War III. Musk's strange comments emerged from a small argument with former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly.

Kelly spoke about Starlink Elon's internet service in Ukraine. There, he restricted access for the Ukrainian military.

"Ukraine desperately needs your continued support," Kelly said. "Please restore full functionality to your Starlink satellite. Defense against a genocidal invasion is not an offensive capability. It's a matter of survival. Innocent lives can be lost. You can help them," he wrote.

Elon then replied to Kelly's tweet, even though what he said was actually just as grim, as if he let it happen.

"You are smart enough not to swallow propaganda and nonsense. Starlink is the backbone of Ukraine's communications, especially on the frontlines, where virtually all other Internet connectivity has been destroyed," he said.

And this is where it gets weird. Elon indicated that if Starlink continued to supply internet to Ukraine, that country's military would use it to heat up its resistance against Russia, and could eventually result in a world war.

"We will not allow an escalation of the conflict leading to World War III," he said.

It is not yet known how Kelly responded after Elon replied to his tweet. However, what is in the spotlight is that Elon's responses are often unprofessional, and cause concern within the company.
