First Look at OnePlus 11 Concept – Concept With Cool Design And Cooling

The OnePlus 11 5G device series was launched not long ago and shows OnePlus once again presenting a device that not only comes with a premium design and internal specifications, but also introduces a new camera system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad to make it a flagship device in its own right.

Recently, at the Mobile World Congress 2023 event that took place in Barcelona, Spain, OnePlus has introduced a concept device developed based on the OnePlus 11 5G device, namely the OnePlus 11 Concept which comes with a number of improvements which OnePlus promises will make this device even better. again.

Specifications And Design

As said earlier, the OnePlus 11 Concept is based on the OnePlus 11 5G device, and this means that in terms of the component offerings and the build on offer, they are two identical devices.

It uses a 6.7-inch LTPO-3 display with QHD resolution powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processing chip and also 16GB LPDDR5X memory and 12GB virtual memory along with 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.

The same 50MP+48MP+30MP camera system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad is also used on this device, and features the same XPan technology. So, if this OnePlus 11 Concept device comes with the same internal specifications as the previous OnePlus 11 5G model, what are the differences?

As shown in the mockup image shown by OnePlus, the two biggest differences that can be seen on the OnePlus 11 Concept device are the combination of a transparent frame that shows a bit of the internal design on the back of the device and also the built-in LED lighting system.

Starting with the transparent frame, it is called the Clearflow Cover frame which showcases OnePlus' new cooling technology developed specifically for this device. With this frame as well, the Halo Lighting lighting system is also shown to see the cooling pipes built into this device to show the flow of heat and cooling liquid contained in it.

The Halo Lighting lighting system also helps in visualizing the flow of the cooling liquid, informing the user if the components in the OnePlus 11 Concept are operating at an optimal temperature.

This lighting system can be seen on the back frame and also around the device's camera module, and will come in a different shade of blue.

Active CryoFlux Cooling System

The biggest difference between the OnePlus 11 5G device and the OnePlus 11 Concept must be the latest cooling system shown by OnePlus, which is Active CryoFlux. This cooling system combines the use of cooling liquid and a piezoelectric pump that comes with a size as small as 0.2 cm2 which ensures that the frame of the OnePlus 11 Concept device is no different from the original OnePlus 11 5G.

OnePlus also said that their latest cooling system promises better performance, where the decrease in temperature of the SoC components is seen to improve gaming performance and also better device charging.

According to their own projections, a temperature drop of 2.1 degrees Celsius will help in increasing game frame rates by 3-4FPS depending on the game, and for device charging, a drop of 1.6 degrees Celsius will increase device charging rates by 30-45 seconds using SuperVOOC charging 100W them.

This Active CryoFlux cooling system is also seen to be used on the OnePlus 11 Concept camera system, where OnePlus uses Guilloché engraving around the camera module and although not much is said about the camera performance of this device, the use of the cooling system is expected to help in reducing heating issues on the camera system when recording pictures and videos for a long period of time.

Conclusion

This is not the first time that OnePlus has shown a concept device that comes with additional features that seem to give new life to the brand, but they will usually only introduce a small number of these concept devices and they will not be sold in large quantities.

It is also likely that OnePlus will use this Concept device as a way to introduce their newly developed technologies to the public, which will then be used more widely in their future devices.

For now, we have asked OnePlus if they are interested in selling this OnePlus 11 Concept device, but they still haven't given the final word on whether it will be introduced and sold to the public.
