The Samsung Galaxy S3 Series, which was recently announced, received a standing ovation in various countries during the pre-order period. Even at home in South Korea, ordering this flagship HP has made a record.
As quoted by us from Samnews24, Wednesday (15/2/2023) Samsung stated that the pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 Series reached the highest number compared to before, with the number of units ordered as many as 1.09 million units.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra, which has a 200 megapixel camera, is the most ordered variant with a percentage of 60%. Followed by the Galaxy S23 with 24% and the remaining 15% ordered the Galaxy S23 Plus.
Thus, the pre-orders for the latest Galaxy S23 series exceeded the record orders for the Galaxy S22, which was around 1,017,000 units in the eight days of pre-sale from 14 to 21 February 2022.
The Galaxy Note 10 holds the record for the most pre-orders among Galaxy smartphones. In the pre-sale that was held on August 11 2019, this model recorded sales of 1.38 million units.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 folding phones, which were released in August last year, reached around 970,000 units in South Korea.
In Indonesia alone, Samsung opens pre-orders for the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra from 2-9 February 2023 at 01.00 WIB. Consumers will receive the units ordered starting February 17.
Meanwhile, those who ordered between 10-23 February 2023, goods will be sent from 24 February 2023.
