How come all of Elon Musk's Twitter timelines are there?

The For You page on Twitter is usually filled with various tweets of Twitter users who may not be followed. But lately, the page has been filled with tweets or replies to Elon Musk's tweets.

Reported by The Verge, Wednesday (14/2/2023), there are many people who are aware of this. Even in accounts that don't follow the Twitter owner.

Interestingly, this phenomenon emerged after Musk complained that his tweets had too few readers, and even fired one of Twitter's senior engineers. He is called breaking up the engineer because he is annoyed that his popularity is declining.

According to a report by Platformer, Musk recently met with several Twitter engineers to discuss the engagement of his tweets which has dropped in recent months.

"This is so ridiculous. I have over 100 million followers, and I only get tens of thousands of impressions," Musk told the employee.

But Musk's annoyance was explained through data, which showed that the popularity of Musk's account reached its peak in April 2022, to be precise after he made an offer to buy Twitter.

Twitter engineers previously investigated whether the reach of Musk's tweets had been artificially limited, but they found no evidence that Twitter's algorithms were biased against Musk.

When one of the employees said that Musk's popularity might be starting to decline because the public was no longer interested in his behavior, Musk immediately fired the employee.

Then at the end of last week, Musk said Twitter would make improvements to fix the problem. He claims that 95% of his tweets don't "deliver" properly.

But if Twitter users are "forced" to read all of Musk's tweets, this is certainly a very strange thing. Especially if the reason is only its declining popularity.
