Huawei launched its first product in 2023. That product is a kid-friendly tablet called Huawei MatePad SE Kids Edition.
Huawei MatePad SE Kids Edition comes with a flashier and more kid-friendly design. This tablet is equipped with a green silicone casing, a handle that can be used as a stand to adjust the tilt of the screen, and a stylus that can be stored on the back of the tablet.
Huawei MatePad SE Kids Edition uses a soft but sturdy case and food grade material. That's the real key.
In terms of specifications, the Huawei MatePad SE Kids Edition is similar to the MatePad SE that was launched last year. This tablet has a 10.4-inch touch screen with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels (FHD+).
The screen is also equipped with Flicker Free and Low Blue Light certification from TUV Rheinland to ensure that your little one's eyes are comfortable when using the tablet. Huawei also includes a 2K Eye Comfort Display feature to reduce the effects of eye fatigue.
This tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The battery has a capacity of 5,100 mAh with 10W fast charging. The operating system uses HarmonyOS 3.0.
Huawei MatePad SE Kids Edition also features a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. Do not miss this tablet also has two speakers and a microphone.
Huawei has included several features and services specifically for children. For example, features to set screen time, determine which applications can be opened, to curate child-friendly sites that can be visited.
Children can also learn and play at Kids Corner and Baby Panda World. There is also a Safe Charging feature which will prevent children from using the tablet while it is being charged, and other eye protection features such as bumpy road warnings, posture warnings, eBook mode, and screen brightness level warnings.
