Huawei Smart Watch With Built-in Earphones Enters Global Market

Remember the Huawei smartwatch with built-in earphones that was launched in China back in the day? Known as Huawei Watch Buds, these watches have finally entered the Global market starting with Europe and the UK. It has also been found already listed on the website with a price of ~RM2,351 with a black color option.

There are no changes to the design and specifications, where users can open the watch face to access the wireless earphones. Through it Huawei uses a magnetic-based watch face cover for that purpose which has also been tested up to 100,000 times of opening. Furthermore, a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen that supports touch is used.

It can also do heart rate tracking, GPS system, sleep tracking, sports activity tracking and make phone calls when needed. Next, it can also be tethered to Android and iOS devices using the Huawei AI Life application for the purpose of tracking movements and activities more comprehensively. Huawei claims battery life can reach 3 days with normal use, while the earphone battery can last 3 hours with ANC activated. The downside is that there is no wireless charging provided on this watch.

For now, it is not known whether Huawei will bring this device to the Malaysian market or vice versa.
