Leaked iPhone 15 CAD Drawing Shows Use of USB-C

We have about seven months left before the iPhone 15 series is officially launched. Although the launch is still far away, information about this year's model has already leaked this time in the form of CAD drawings. Leaked CAD drawings for the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro confirm USB-C port users. This is certainly good news for those who have been asking Apple to stop using Lightning chargers for a long time.

More interestingly, it confirms that Dynamic Island will also be given to the regular iPhone 15. Last year this feature was only given to both iPhone 14 Pro models. Also revealed is that the base model will come with a larger 6.2″ screen instead of 6.1″. This is done by reducing the size of the bezel.

Only these two models have been leaked so far. But the probability of a screen with Dynamic Island being offered on the iPhone 14 Plus and all models supporting USB-C is very high. Apple had to change to USB-C this year to meet the requirements of the European Union (EU) and India which mandated its use. Finally all Apple devices can be supported with one uniform charging cable.
