Lenovo is showing several different uses of screen designs on their products, including laptops with foldable screens that are ready for the public. Most recently at Mobile World Congress 2023, Lenovo also showed a laptop with a screen that can be pulled up.
For information, Lenovo has shared about this offer briefly before, and this time the prototype of the product is offered to be tested by the attendees to the event.
Through this laptop, it offers a 12.7-inch screen at a display ratio of 4:3. By pressing a button on the side of the laptop, it in turn activates the back panel that moves up – simultaneously pulling the screen for a larger display – changing to an 8:9 display.
With this offering, Lenovo says it enables tasks such as writing programming code, content production, video editing and so on to be done easily without the need for a second screen.
For now, it can be labeled as still in the prototype stage. It is not yet known how durable it will be for long-term use – given that laptops are used for more than 5 years.
