LLaMA Becomes Meta Chicken To Challenge ChatGPT

Artificial intelligence is a technology that has become the backbone of technology companies to stay competitive. ChatGPT developed by OpenAI became the focus of users due to its amazing capabilities forcing Google to launch Bard and China to launch MOSS. Last weekend Meta also launched LLaMA which is their answer to ChatGPT.

LLaMA stands for Large Language Model Meta AI and is artificial intelligence implemented using 20 major world languages. It is trained using CCNet, C4, Wikipedia, ArXiv, and Stack open source data. LLaMA's capabilities are unknown because unlike ChatGPT, Meta will only offer access to artificial intelligence researchers for now to ensure it is used for ethical purposes only.

In the announcement made by Mark Zuckerberg, he said that LLaMA uses a smaller base model therefore does not require high processing power. Currently LLaMA has not been integrated into any Meta product. Because access is limited, researchers who are interested in trying should send an application to Meta via the link below.
