Malaysia's Digital Education Policy Will Be Presented to the Ministry of Education and Culture Soon

In the country's efforts to produce a digitally literate generation, the Digital Education Policy will soon be brought to the Cabinet of Ministers meeting in the near future.

The initiative, according to the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM) in an oral notification to Parliament - aims to increase the exposure of knowledge regarding the critical use of technology among teachers, students and school staff.

The Ministry of Education and Culture sees that this step will also help the national education system to improve the efficiency of the teaching staff along with a broad mastery of learning with the students. With this effort, it will also open up investment sharing opportunities between the education sector and smart economic partners.

To date, among the digital efforts that have been implemented through the DELIMa platform, around 754 digital textbooks have been successfully uploaded, followed by 5,568 curriculum videos along with 170 educational materials in the form of podcasts for students.

The effort is guaranteed to continue to be improved, to ensure that this technology-based and digital education material can be utilized by all levels of students in the country.
