MediaTek Helio G36 Launched With Focus On Budget Entry Devices

 


MediaTek now comes with another new processing chip through the Helio G36. It is a 4G chip that focuses on entry-level smartphones and is rebranded from the MediaTek Helio G37 with a lowered clockspeed of 100Mhz.



Through it it uses 12nm technology (TSMC) which contains eight Cortex-A53 cores at speeds up to 2.2GHz with a combination of GPU IMG PowerVR GE8320 at speeds of 680Mhz. Screen support is up to 90Hz at FHD resolution, while memory is limited to LPDDR4 (up to 10GB) and eMMC 5.1 based storage.


Also supported, camera systems up to 50MP for one module or dual-camera setup limited to 13MP + 13MP with video recording up to 1080P/30FPS. Voice assistant support is also smartly improved, and connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5, bluetooth 5 and 4G Volte.
