Microsoft Investigates ChatGPT Use For Robotics And Drones

The name ChatGPT has become one of the familiar names for many users today. The ChatGPT service provides artificial intelligence support for the public to access – where only through text-based input, users can receive various feedback and assistance in tasks.

Microsoft itself as an investor in OpenAI is ready to integrate the technology on some of their products, including Bing.

Recently, Microsoft also shared that their researchers are researching the use of ChatGPT beyond normal use, which is to control robotic tasks.

Microsoft tested the ability to use ChatGPT in making it easier for people to control and interact with robots more easily, without going through complex learning.

This will make it easier for more people to control robots or drones without having to use complex or technical inputs. Instead, users can type commands using normal spoken language, and the robot will understand them.

For now, it's just a preliminary test and study. It is not yet known whether we will be able to see a commercial offering for these ChatGPT-controlled robots.
