Microsoft's Google Will Use the Advanced Version of ChatGPT

Microsoft is strengthening its collaboration with OpenAI by integrating a number of AI services into the Azure cloud platform.

Then, they also inject additional funds into OpenAI in the amount of USD 10 billion and will integrate ChatGPT into their search engine called Bing, we were quoted as saying from Techspot, Sunday (5/2/2023).

Bing integration with ChatGPT is said to occur in the next few weeks. However, the ChatGPT that is used will be different from the one that was freely available to the public.

ChatGPT used on Bing is reportedly a version that uses the GPT-4 language model, faster than GPT-3.x which is available for free.

Naturally, speed is important for a search engine, and the hope is that GPT-4 can provide capable speed and be more responsive in answering user questions.

GPT-4 is said to be able to provide contextual answers in seconds, not minutes as required by GPT-3.x. It is possible, by integrating GPT-4 into Bing, Microsoft's search engine can give competition to Google in terms of search engines.

Google has actually been working on a machine learning chatbot for use in search engines and its various services. They even summoned their top leaders to come down from the mountain, namely Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

Oh yes, ChatGPT has now opened its premium version of chatbot called ChatGPT Plus at a rate of USD 20 per month. These premium users can still access ChatGPT during peak hours, priority access to new features, and faster response times.

Meanwhile, the standard version of ChatGPT will still be available for free, and OpenAI promises to continue providing the chatbot service with the same restrictions and capabilities as before.
