Motorola Defy 2 Launched With Two-Way Satellite Telecommunications System

 


Do you need a satellite telecommunication system on an Android device? If the answer is yes, the Motorola Defy 2 launched in conjunction with WMC 2023 is the device for you. It has the ability to perform two-way satellite communication in various situations.



It is equipped with a 6.6″ IPS LCD 120Hz screen, powered by a Dimensity 930 chip, 6GB RAM memory, 128GB storage and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W charging. The main camera pairs a 50MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, an 8MP camera is used.



The body of the durable device passes MIL-STD-810H standards with the front glass using Victus Gorilla Glass. The connection to the satellite is made through the 3GPP NTN system offered by Bullit. In an emergency situation the owner can send an SMS for help complete with the last GPS location.


The Motorola Defy 2 is sold for $599 (~RM2656) with a 12-month subscription to the satellite emergency SOS system.
