Motorola Defy Satellite Link Offers Satellite Communications On Android And iPhone Devices

 


The Motorola Defy 2 was announced last week with built-in satellite communication features. But for existing smartphone owners, they can now enjoy the same features without having to buy a new device using Motorola Defy Satellite Link.



The Motorola Defy Satellite Link tethers via bluetooth to Android smartphones and iPhones. Like the Defy 2, it offers a two-way satellite communication feature when no cellular network or WiFi is available. Sending emergency SMS with GPS location is possible as supported on Defy 2 and iPhone 14.


It has a built-in hanger and a durable body that passes MIL-Spec 810H standards and is IP68 waterproof. It comes with a 600 mAh battery.
