MSI has recently announced that Intel's 600 and 700 series motherboards comprising the MEG, MPG, MAG, and PRO series now support high-capacity DDR5 memory.
Soon, owners of MSI motherboards for the Intel platform will be able to use DDR5 memory with a capacity of 24GB and 48GB and enable this motherboard to support the use of memory up to 192GB.
This includes the Intel Z790, B760, Z690, B660 and H610 motherboards. The 13th and 12th generation Intel Core processing chips will support these new memories without problems.
More interestingly, MSI says that users do not need to update the BIOS to use the memories, and only need to install them in the memory slot to use them.
