The OnePlus Ace 2 was officially launched in China today confirming the use of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and a design that is very similar to the OnePlus 11 that was launched before.
The device is equipped with a 6.74″ AMOLED 120Hz screen that uses an Asahi Glass panel. This is paired with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, up to 16GB RAM memory, up to 512GB storage and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The main camera combines a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. Meanwhile on the front, a 16MP selfie camera is used with it being placed in the camera hole.
The device uses ColorOS 13 in China based on Android 13. The interesting feature offered is a large vacuum chamber cooling system. At the moment the device is only offered in China at a price of RMB2799 (~RM1776) for 12/256 GB and RMB3099 (~RM1966) for 15/512GB. The colors offered are Vast Black and Glacier Blue. For the global market, the device will be rebranded as the OnePlus 11R.
