According to the latest Ookla SpeedTest report, the average broadband internet speed in Malaysia is 92.69 Mbps while the average mobile internet speed is 43.67 Mbps. This places Malaysia at 36th for broadband internet and 48th for mobile internet.
The country with the fastest average broadband internet speed is Singapore with 234.55 Mbps and the fastest average mobile internet speed is the United Arab Emirates with 161.156 Mbps.
Although Malaysia's internet speed is not the fastest in the world, it is still one of the fastest in the Southeast Asian region and faster than the global average speed.
