The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series smart watch is capable of detecting blood pressure, pulse level, stress and fat levels in the body. Starting Q2 2023 later, it will also be given the ability to track the user's menstrual cycle.
Samsung collaborated with Natural Cycles which developed an application that tracks the menstrual cycle through body temperature. The cycle tracking feature of Watch5 has passed the standards of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea and has been registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Menstrual cycle tracking can be accessed directly through the Samsung Health application starting Q2 2023 in 32 countries, namely the United States, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Germany , Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, France, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and U.K
