Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was launched last November with improved performance and efficiency. It brings up to 35% CPU and 25% GPU improvement, in addition to up to 40% power consumption savings. Among the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered devices currently on the market, include the Samsung Galaxy S23, IQOO 11 5G, OnePlus 11 5G and Xiaomi 13.
New developments reveal that the new generation of Qualcomm chips is expected to arrive earlier than usual. This was revealed by Digital Chat Station through one of its updates on Weibo, but unfortunately no more specific information was shared. This includes the configuration on the processing chip and the launch date in particular. Even so, the device with Qualcomm's new generation chip may arrive in the fourth quarter of this year which is between October and December. This means, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 could potentially arrive at the end of October or early November next year.
No official statement has been issued by Qualcomm regarding the allegations so far. So, it's better if we consider the information shared is still at a preliminary stage.
