South Korea Plans to Introduce 6G as Early as 2028

South Korea is now aiming to introduce the 6th generation telecommunications network, also known as 6G, as early as 2028.

With this move, it puts only around 5 more years before South Korea launches their 6G network. Previously, the target was set at 2030, but now it is 2 years earlier.

With this move, South Korea is expected to continue to lead the telecommunications and network infrastructure arena, while at the same time meeting the high demand in the wireless communication arena.

In addition to South Korea, several other countries are also leading this 6G research, including China.
