Susan Wojcicki Will Step Down As YouTube CEO This March

 


When it comes to the development of YouTube as a leading video streaming platform, Susan Wojcicki is among the most important names in the history of the platform.


Recently, after 25 years with Google and 9 years as CEO of YouTube, he has announced that he will step down from the position in March 2023. The reason for his resignation is because he wants to spend time with his family, and also wants to focus on health and also personal products.



Replacing her is Neal Mohan, who previously held the position of Chief Product Officer at YouTube and had previously worked with Susan for 15 years.


Although Susan will be stepping down as CEO, she will still be working with a number of YouTube's development teams in the near future and will continue to be an advisor to Sundar Pichai, Google's CEO.
