Xiaomi is reportedly preparing the Redmi 12C for the global market. Leaked specifications have appeared, even circulating photos of its original appearance in the real world.
Reporting from Gizmochina, the packaging box for the successor to the Redmi 10C is identical to other Xiaomi phones. Meanwhile, the unit, Redmi 12C has a camera protrusion that is very similar to the Redmi Note 10 device.
Xiaomi places a large fingerprint sensor and Redmi writing right next to the rear camera module. Meanwhile, the back cover is made to have a zig-zag pattern which will make the Redmi 12C not slippery and free from fingerprint smudges.
Turning to the specifications, based on information revealed by leaker Paras Gudlani, it is not much different from the Redmi 12C which was announced in China on New Year's Eve 2023.
Paras said that Redmi 12C offers three color choices, namely Ocean Blue, Mint Green and Graphite Gray. Xiaomi will provide two configuration options, 3/64 GB and 4/128 GB.

The Redmi 12C screen has a 6.71 inch stretch with an IPS LCD panel and HD + resolution. The screen has an aspect ratio of 20.6:9 and a brightness level of 500 nits.
The kitchen spur is entrusted to the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset combined with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 ROM. The battery will have a capacity of 5,000 mAh with support for 10W fast charging.
There are two cameras on the back which have a 50 MP composition and a depth sensor. While on the front there is a 5 MP selfie camera.
Paras said that Redmi 12C will be announced on 26 February 2023. The price will start at 170 euros or around Rp. 2.7 million.
There is no information whether this phone will be released in the market. However, considering that the Redmi 10C was brought to the market, it is very likely that its successor will also be brought along.
