Many Gen Zers see being a content creator as an ideal career. No employer controls working hours and they can set their own career direction. But with hundreds of millions of money content creators out there now, making money is getting harder and harder.
According to a report by The Information, TikTok is now ready to introduce a feature that allows content creators to charge for watching exclusive videos. Fees starting at $1 can be charged by content creators for videos on the TikTok platform.
With this more consistent income can be generated without it having to go viral. TikTok will also launch Creator Fund 2.0 to pay users with over 100,00 followers.
This is TikTok's move to increase the number of users and at the same time keep content creators on their platform in the near future.
