Twitter has been having problems being accessed since around 6 this morning Malaysian time. If tweets are sent using Twitter web and Tweetdeck, users will receive a notification saying they have reached the maximum daily tweet limit.
This morning's timeline only displays updates from accounts from the United States and companies that accept Verified coverage only. Some users have reported that messages sent only appear after a few minutes. Based on personal experience, messages sent through the smartphone app are sent but do not appear on the milk time. Harassment is not just limited to sending private tweets, even retweeting is also not allowed.
Twitter has issued a statement that they are aware of this problem and that efforts are being made to restore service. We became aware of the issue shortly after Twitter announced support for sending tweets with 4000 characters two hours ago.
Updated – Twitter web version and smartphone app are working again but still not 100% smooth. Access to Tweetdeck has still not been restored at the time this article was written.
