Twitter Now Has A 4000 Character Limit That Can Be Used To Publish Short Stories

You can now publish an entire short story via Twitter if that's what you want to do. Starting today Twitter Blue customers in the United States can send tweets with a 4000 character limit.

As a context, typically a short story on the Cereka application only has around 2000 words. By default, the text display will be limited to 280 characters only with a "more" button to read the entire written text.

This is another evolution of the platform that used to have a limit of 140 characters only because of the example of the character limit for SMS. Then support for placing pictures and short videos was added before the character limit was increased to 280.
