After selling blue check via Twitter Blue, Twitter is likely to offer a gold check for business. To get this gold check, businesses must pay USD 1,000 per month to Twitter.
This news came from The Information, which reported that a business account that did not pay per month would lose its gold check. But it is not yet known when it will start.
The internal message seen by The Information also revealed that Twitter would set an additional fee of USD 50 per month to add a check to one account related to business.
This report is in line with the screenshot uploaded on Twitter by Social Media Consultant Matt Navarra. The screenshot showed an email between Twitter Product Manager Evan Jones and business actors who were not named.
"As an Early Access customer, you will get a gold check for your organization and check affiliates for their partner accounts," wrote the email, as quoted by The Verge, Monday (6/2/2023).
"If you want to subscribe, Verified for Organizations is USD 1,000 per month, and USD 50 per handle affiliated per month with free affiliates for one month," he continued.

Twitter released a gold check as part of the Verification for Organizations program (previously named Blue for Business) which allows the company and brand to verify its account on Twitter.
This program also allows companies to add badges which are mini versions of their profile photos to accounts related to companies, such as employees, executives, and others.
Twitter itself has not released the official Verification for Organizations program. The bird logo company has not yet announced information about subscription fees and The Information said the price of the month was still finalized and could change.
The subscription program with a fantastic price is one of the many ways that Elon Musk applied to boost his income. In addition to massive layoffs, Twitter also launched Twitter Blue for USD 8 per month so that ordinary users can have a blue check and will force the developer to pay if they want to access Twitter API.
