An investigative filmmaker claims to have obtained photographs of UFOs taken by the US military in active conflict zones.
Journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp presented the image, purportedly taken in Mosul, Iraq in April 2016 by a reconnaissance-intelligence aircraft.
"What you see in this image is you see a UFO that was first filmed by the US military over a conflict zone which is officially called a UFO or UAP which is being actively investigated," Corbell told CNN.
Corbells describes the photo as especially meaningful to people who want the truth about UFOs.
"Our government has officially confirmed to the American public that UFOs are real," he told TMZ.
"There was an unidentified person flying with impunity through our restricted airspace and now we know from the release that over the conflict zone you have one of these metal balls."

The picture is not kept secret. But the footage from which the photo was taken was part of a classified briefing by the Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force (UAPTF), a unit tasked with investigating UFOs.
Corbell said that these types of metal balls fly near the United States coastline on a regular basis. But said he had no conclusive proof of alien life and was only trying to report UAP to the public.
"It was identified in the intelligence community at the Department of Defense and the Pentagon in official reports as UAP," he was quoted as saying by Petapixel.
"What I'm trying to do is report news as a journalist to the American public and create UFO transparency so that we can carry out rational scientific investigations and we can also discover what the presence of UFOs on planet Earth means to us."
