Very Dangerous! People Allegedly Sleeping in Tesla While Driving

Viral video of a woman who allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of her Tesla car. Other drivers who realized this tried to wake him up by honking several times.

Launching Next Shark, the woman seemed to be asleep wearing glasses. The incident occurred around 4pm last Thursday on the 15 Freeway near Temecula, California, United States.

"You won't believe this. This is a brand new Tesla. He doesn't even have plates, does he?" said Kiki Dolas who recorded the incident.

"He's unconscious, asleep, completely unconscious and this car drove him. Look how dangerous that is guys. Sorry, that's too dangerous!" he exclaimed.

Dolas and his partner tried to resuscitate the driver by honking their horns for 15 minutes without any success. In the end, Dolas chose to call 911 because he was worried about the driver's condition, in case he also experienced a sudden decline in health. The continuation of the video is not known.

Even though Tesla's car offers a drive-assist feature, the company actually still urges you to monitor the steering wheel. It is even explained that the driver's hands must remain ready on the steering wheel.

"Autopilot, Enhanced Autopilot and Full Self-Driving Capability are intended for use with an attentive driver, who is at the helm and ready to take over at any moment. While these features are designed to become more capable over time, the features that being activated at this time does not make the vehicle autonomous," the company stressed on its official website.
